Circulating Tumor Cells (CTC) are cells that are shed into the bloodstream by the primary tumor. CTCs have been investigated as diagnostic, prognostic and predictive biomarkers in many types of cancer.
CTC serve as seeds for growth of additional tumors (metastasis) in vital distant organs.
CTC counts are associated with unfavorable prognosis in early stage cancer patients.
CTC clusters are defined as groups of two or more aggregated CTCs found in the blood of patients with solid tumor.
CTC clusters have a survival advantage over individual CTCs during their transit in the blood stream and a better potential for colonization in the distant sites and can likely contribute to metastasis.

Early Detection
of Cancer.
Early diagnosis = Better prognosis
It is widely accepted that early detection of cancer is key to ensure a better outcome of cancer therapy for patients. But usually the earliest indication of cancer is due to symptoms (bleeding, lumps, non-healing wound etc) rather than the result of proactive testing. Since these symptoms are at many times improperly diagnosed or ignored, many patients are diagnosed with cancer only at a later stage.

Sample Collection
Upon booking the CTC Test, one of our registered phlebotomists shall visit and collect 5 ml of patient’s blood sample.
Receive Report
A set of diagnostics will be run on the patient’s blood sample and the report shall be provided in 7 working days upon receipt of sample on site.
